As I have confessed in the past, in my early years I found myself active in the Democratic Party and the general liberal methodology. I had no understanding of the concept of the false left/right paradigm. I had no inkling of the dangers of globalism and central banking. I had no concept of decentralization or non-participation. I had never even heard of libertarianism. I knew only that George W. Bush was a criminal (and I was right), but the problem went far deeper than the GOP. I was astoundingly ignorant of the bigger picture.
However, what I did have going for me was an almost violent sense of nonconformity. I hated collectivists, yet I found myself surrounded by them while working within the leftist culture. It was the insanity of self-proclaimed “liberals” that taught me the true nature of the facade of politics. When I realized that the Democrats were essentially the same corrupt entity as the neoconservatives, everything in my life changed.
One aspect of liberalism with which I am now very familiar is political correctness. I didn’t understand it at the time, not until I stepped outside the cultism of it and looked in from a wiser place. It always bothered me, but I couldn’t quite grasp why until later. Then, it hit me like a revelation. Political correctness was not a political ideology. No, it was a religion, a full-fledged spiritual con, a New Age ghetto of frothing mishmash that is sociological voodoo. And the leftists were eating it up like steak night at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
These people were rationally retarded. Every idea they proposed they merely parroted from books and articles they had read. They were like malfunctioning automatons trapped in a cycle of discontented social criticism. Their desperation to invent meaning in the midst of their irrelevant lives made me feel ill. If they could not find a legitimate cause to champion, they would create one out of thin air and defend it relentlessly, regardless of how shallow it truly was.
When I outline my analysis of economic destabilization within the United States or I write about the rise of the police state, I am driven by a fundamental sense of concrete concern. There are indeed real problems in the world, swirling in a storm of obvious factual conflicts. But the warriors of the PC culture don’t see any of it. Rather, they fantasize about injustices that don’t exist, trespasses that are ultimately fictional. They imagine themselves champions of some greater purpose that, in the end, doesn’t matter.
Recently, I read a news story about a “transgendered teen” in Maine. When the boy was in the fifth grade, he decided to dress as a girl and demanded to use the girl’s bathroom at his public school, despite having the biological apparatus of a male. This story was international news, folks! Why? I can’t say, except that the mainstream media have made a point to focus on “gender optional” issues as if they represent some kind of civil rights uprising.
The issue perfectly illustrates the disturbing nature of politically correct culture.
Teachers at the school did not deny the student the use of restroom facilities. In fact, they allowed him to use the teacher’s bathrooms to avoid any confusion. The Maine Supreme Judicial Court, on the other hand, had other ideas. It ruled that the school’s refusal to allow the boy to use the girl’s facilities constituted a violation of the State’s anti-discrimination law. The ruling has been heralded as a massive victory for the politically correct narrative.
Now, let me make one thing clear: I could not care less about this boy’s sexual orientation (if he even has one). I do think the very idea that a fifth-grader at about the age of 10 is sexually conscious enough to develop a sense of gender dissuasion is absurd. Children who haven’t even experienced puberty yet, proclaiming they are transgendered? Utter nonsense. I find it far more likely that the student’s PC-obsessed parents influenced him to come to such a decision despite his naivety.
That said, a person’s sexual proclivities are not my concern. In fact, I have no interest whatsoever in the infatuations of any individual. That is a personal matter. I do not judge such people on their attractions. I do, though, judge people on how they handle their infatuations. What happens when someone wears his sexuality on his shoulder like a fashion accessory? Why is that even necessary? Is it not rather mentally backward for any person to base his public persona solely on his carnal compulsions? Do I dance around on the sidewalk bellowing to strangers how much I love the curves of women? Do I require a sociopolitical legal apparatus to vindicate my existence? Do I feel the need to shame gay people into publicly embracing my straight man’s libido? No, I do not.
The PC culture demands that we, as individuals, openly accept the sexual orientations of anyone and everyone; otherwise, we are labeled prejudiced monsters. It is not enough that we object in a logical manner. No, we must fall to our knees and thank the stars for the very existence of gender chameleons.
In the end, the psychological gender position of any particular person does not overrule his biological features. A child with a penis is a boy. Period. He will never be a girl. Ever. Not without surgical aid. And even then, he will never have the ability to give birth, which is the very hallmark of femininity. (Sorry, feminists, but that’s how it goes.) A boy, no matter his mental orientation, does not belong in a girl’s lavatory. The privacy rights of the girls outweigh the gender confusion of the boy. If I were a girl (why not play some gender games since everyone else is), I would beat the living hell out of any boy gallivanting in a dress in a bathroom I was using and make sure he never dared come back. And, by extension, if I were a rather mischievous boy with an aptitude as a peeping tom, why not dress up in a tutu in the hopes of getting a glimpse of the forbidden while being legally protected by the State?
The warped conflicts that arise, though, are not the creation of the child in question. A fifth-grader has no concept of gender rights or political correctness. This issue was a creation of the PC cult and its acolytes. These people don’t actually care about the children they involve in their legal dramas. They exploit them, with every intent to abandon them once they have chiseled their agenda into the gray matter of every American.
What truly motivates these people? Why do they do what they do? I think my experience with leftists makes me a well-positioned observer of the psychology of the culture. Here are the hidden thought processes I have witnessed while dealing directly with the PC army.
PC Elitism
One of the unfortunate side effects of religion is that proponents often use it as a means to feel superior to others. I have seen it in Christianity as much as I have seen it in any other belief system. It is the primary reason why I refuse to subscribe to organized and establishment-sanctioned spiritualism. Religion should be a personal experience first and foremost, not an easy way to fit in with the collective. Communing with others who share one’s beliefs should be secondary. Hypocritically, politically correct adherents often criticize Christians for their collectivist elitism while suffering from the same problem themselves.
PC culture allows participants to pretend as though they have some greater understanding of the world, an elevated knowledge of life that makes them superior to the uninitiated. It is important to understand that when a person pursues the methodology of zealotry, he doesn’t do it to make the world a better place; he does it to feel better about his place in the world.
The politically correct are so violent in the assertion of their ideals because they crave the subjugation of the mainstream and a recognition of their “rightness.” They don’t want people to “accept” their beliefs as tolerable. They want people to adore their beliefs as supreme. They want every man, woman and child to reinforce their ideals without question.
The malfunction of this philosophy is that zealots are never finished. They must always find new ways to feel superior to others. So they continuously engineer new taboos and new sins, no matter how ridiculous, so that they can forever look down upon the laymen. Because of this, there will never be an end to PC law. It will go on forever, labeling numerous social interactions and stances as “aberrant” — never satiated and never satisfied.
PC Futurism
The young are always searching for ways to feel wiser than the old. This is just the natural way of things, at least in America. Now, I know from ample experience that age does not necessarily denote intelligence. I’ve met plenty of idiotic people who had decades of time to learn from their mistakes but didn’t. But the young, many of whom lack time and struggle, have a terrible tendency to either pretend that they have “seen it all.” Or they pretend that the very atmosphere of the day somehow gives them a greater insight than generations past. The reality is that most of them know very little of import. This attitude comes from a philosophy called “futurism” (popular with the Nazis and the Soviets), which holds that all the beliefs and discoveries of the past mean nothing compared to the beliefs and discoveries of the present. This ideology is alluring to the young, because it gives them a way to feel intellectually dominant over older and more “ignorant” people who are “behind the times.”
Political correctness is basically an appendage of futurism. By labeling elders as social bigots and products of a barbaric era who don’t understand the “lingo” of the PC elite, liberalism draws in and collectivizes the fledgling left. Younger generations are given a cultural avenue toward high priesthood, a right of passage usually reserved for the aged. They get to skip ahead past all the trials and tribulations of life and announce their deep awareness of the so-called greater good.
The values of forefathers past become archaic scrawlings of racist and prejudiced cavemen who could never appreciate the “brilliance” of today’s academia. The inherent freedoms of natural law that have existed since time began are nothing more than obstacles to them, standing in the way of a new and better world where they have somehow outsmarted human instinct and centuries of history.
PC Collectivism
The very foundation of political correctness is solidified in a desire for the perpetual reinforcement of one’s worldview. PC people need every other person around them to sing the praises of their pure virtues. If I happen to disagree with the idea of gender bending, for instance, as some kind of socially persecuted subculture that needs overt government protection, then I am, of course, labeled a hateful Neanderthal. If I stand in opposition to the concept of victim group status in general, in which the state demands that designated “minorities” be given special treatment regardless of the status of the individual, then I become a racist political fossil ignorant of the bigger picture. You see, if you disagree with PC culture in any way (even if that way is rational), you cannot win. To refute political correctness is to refute the god of the New Age; and to refute their god, even with concrete logic, is blasphemy.
This kind of blind faith in political correctness lends itself entirely to collectivism. The average person begins to think that without a viable appreciation of the philosophy, he may be left out or cast aside. Most people do not know how to function without the approval of others. Therefore, even if a father happens to have a healthy skepticism over the idea of a make-up wearing fifth-grade boy waltzing into his daughter’s school bathroom, he is likely to keep his mouth shut, because to speak out would be a risk to his position within the group, or the community.
PC Control
The prevalence of PC philosophy is not subtle. I have always found it interesting that political correctness seems to consistently support the demands of the state. Our system smothers children with it in public school, our workplaces are rife with the propaganda for fear of lawsuits and colleges are veritable breeding grounds for the PC oligarchy. Politically correct culture goes out of its way to constantly test others to make sure they are also true believers. This is exactly what is going on in the following interview with Jerry Seinfeld, who, to his credit, dashes the nonsense to the ground.
The truth is some discrimination is healthy, and some discord is needed for a society to remain balanced. As long as we don’t allow our disagreements to end in the physical harm of others, then those disagreements are our natural-born right. If you are a racist (this goes for non-whites as well), that’s fine. Just don’t act out your racism in a violent way around me, or I will have to put you down permanently. If you have a distaste of homosexuality (or asexuality, as seems popular nowadays), then whatever, I don’t care. You shouldn’t have to have organizations like GLAAD (formerly the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) in your face attempting to force you to put on a smile for gaydom, coordinate man-on-man heavy-petting protests in your favorite restaurant (Chick-fil-A) while you’re trying to eat a damn sandwich, push boys into the girl’s bathroom, or trying to shut down your favorite TV shows because the stars happen to share your views (“Duck Dynasty”).
Now, PC proponents will argue that the very existence of bigotry does harm to society as a whole, and it must be educated out of individuals. Frankly, I see that kind of utopian fascism as a far greater threat to society as a whole than bigotry ever will be.
Look at where we are today because of the PC nightmare! We have a Nation on the verge of industrial and economic collapse, partly because companies are forced by law or persuaded by government subsidies to hire people with victim group status, even if they are unqualified, while ignoring highly qualified people who just happen to have lighter skin. We have children not even old enough to discover their own inherent character being clinically diagnosed with “gender dysphoria” by a psychiatric community of quacks, which conjured most PC terminology out of thin air. We have boys who are told that they are stunted for acting out their natural male impulses and girls who are told that true femininity is weakness and that they should act more masculine. We have a mainstream culture that coddles and infantilizes young adults, young girls who think promiscuity is the key to womanhood and that motherhood is disgusting (which I find rather ironic), and young men who have no testicular fortitude and no clue how to take charge of their own lives.
The American family unit has been completely destroyed. We have women who are ashamed to set aside careers to raise children because feminism frowns upon “breeders” who bring down the whole gender. We have men who abandon their children and refuse to take responsibility. And we have a weak-minded population addicted to collective affirmation and unwilling to think outside the box for fear of being shunned and shamed. Honestly, I can’t see a single redeeming quality to political correctness other than the fact that those people who espouse it do so loudly and obnoxiously, making it easier for me to identify and avoid them or to take special note of them as an obvious zombie threat in an America swiftly declining into mundane oblivion.

Nail on head as usual Brandon...there's even more at play here. How did PC even take hold to start with? To be fair, only an almost totally neutered society is capable of accepting it in the first place. So, to fully get PC, its helpful to understand how that happened. You touched on it at the end with the death of the Family unit. I happen to agree with you on the personal relationship with God as a truly "individual" matter. This is a good article with too many points for me to comment on! One thing I would like to write is that I think part of the problem is that too many people want too much. It isn’t even enough to have others’ “stuff” anymore. They now need other people to respect them as well. They do not realize that respect is not given, it is earned.
The unfortunate fact is that we (Americans) have had it too good for too long. So many problems can be tied back to that. When I recently challenged someone about raising the minimum wage to $10, they said, “Who is going to get rich off of $7.45 an hour?” To which I replied, “No one. You aren’t supposed to get rich off of flipping burgers. You are supposed to use it as motivation to better yourself and find skills to make you rich; if that is what you want.” I then asked, “Why stop at $10? Why not go to $20 an hour?” While they knew $20 an hour would kill businesses, I was forced to ask, “So how do you know $10 an hour won’t kill businesses?”
Many of the poor people in America are often obese and have cable televisions, smart phones, X-Boxes, etc. Those who fall into this category have no idea what it truly means to be poor.
It will be very interesting to see how things play out when we have our currency crisis. The amount of empty promises will go parabolic. (And from where we are right now, that is a big deal!) There will be a very rude awakening when our government can no longer take enough from the makers to give to the takers. But I’m sure WWIII will take care of that.

It is my contention that this is about control. We humans like to think we have some modicum of control in our lives. Control of our immediate resources- home, choice of location, job etc. When that sense of choosing for ourselves is taken away from us by government, banks, NWO and such we lose the one thing that keeps us sane in an insane world, freedom to choose.
If we can't choose for ourselves then, by god, we choose for others! It's easy to point out problems with others. It doesn't even matter if there really is a problem, we'll make one up. At least we get to control SOMETHING.

While I agree with the article Brandon offers up here, the debate about raising the minimum wage is a completely different matter. Most business owners and corporations today will only act in total self interest and that includes not being willing to pay someone a living wage. Didn't used to be like that, but it damn sure is today. The idea that one can work hard and get ahead in today's world is delusional thinking. I owned 11 cellular phone stores for many years and no one that worked for me made less than 22k per year(and that was a 5 day workweek,closed Sundays). However, the 60-80+ other cell stores in our area mostly all paid half that to their employees and gladly turned them over regularly. The fast food industry is the same way today. Point is, corporations and most business owners have to be forced to pay a living wage. Proof in point is, there are millions of workers today working full-time making minimum wage(they can't even feed themselves) and the owners/corporate decision makers drive 50k automobiles. Time was, people were willing to sacrifice a little themselves to make life better for someone else. No more.

It started with Affirmative Action. That was the beginning of the end. Mandating that inferior workers be hired ahead of superior talent began the decline of the american workforce. And then that led to PC and the ensuing madness of elevating every weird mutation of human beings to saint status. It's like a virus that must run its course. Eventually the pendulum will swing far enough to the left where there will be a counter revolution against all this stupidity. Unfortunately, the damage has already been done. I disagree. I think (some) of the demand for political correctness comes from people who want respect, but didn’t earn it. Some probably want power over others, but didn’t earn it. So I think the government should not force someone to be paid more than they are worth. I heard a figure that only 3% of Americans actually earn minimum wage. (sorry, I do not remember the source) But the fact is MOST people earn more than minimum wage. And I would guess it is due to their employer being instilled with confidence that the individual is worth more than minimum wage.
Furthermore, there are a ton of programs out there from our bloated government to help people who earn a small wage.
On a deeper level, the minimum wage thing is just another wedge. Just like political correctness. And the masses largely buy into both.

There would be too many "insurgents".) We still have more nukes than anyone, so that should provide a little comfort on that level. Dr Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's man was in charge of propaganda (Minister for Propaganda), if alive today, would be delighted with how the whole PC culture, as a propaganda tool, has been so successfully applied to the sheeple in our Western societies.
The whole PC culture is about actively discouaraging questioning and dissent. The PCists don't want to debate you and if you challenge them their tactic is always to try and shut you down.
Yes Goebbels would be pleased with how you can so indoctrinate an entire society and then actively move to shut down dissent. Only now they usually do not kill people to do it. They might put you in jail though if they can find some harsh law to hit you with. That of course is no longer too difficult with a mass of legislation governing what you are allowed to say.

It never fails, when the ignorant are presented with a criticism of their trampling of the rights and concerns of others, they always accuse the critic of being the enemy or the tyrant. I have no desire to control what anyone else does, as long as they are respecting the rights and privacy of others.
The parents of the transgendered boy discussed in the article and the state do not respect the privacy rights and concerns of the other students and their families. It is THEY who are obsessed with forcing people to do what THEY think is the correct thing. I've never tried to use the government to force my beliefs on anyone.
It's also rather funny that you are so desperate to pigeonhole me as a "Republican". If you read any of the hundreds of articles I've written on this site, you will see numerous examples where I criticize the Republican leadership and neo-conservatism in general. You clearly don't understand what libertarianism entails.
Please try to do a little more research in the future. You are only embarrassing yourself.

I have come to the conclusion that this PC-ness is exactly what is wrong with society today. We have obviously smart people not thinking for themselves out of fear that their PC friends will somehow shun them for their discourse. I would much rather not have those friends. If they cannot think with logic and reason, they are worthless to me when it comes to improving the state of the world. Too many collectivists and not enough free thought revolutionaries.

I really can understand, Who Cares, triggering at your strong expression of contempt for the transgender being exploited by the PC apparatchiks.
While you make it clear, that you do not care about this young persons sexual orientation, your following statement, quoted below, also makes it very clear that you hold the transgendered child, and also her parents by strong inference, in utter contempt.

The USSR persecuted any and all who deviated from their politically enforced cultural norm, and their list of deviants included anyone sexually different (abnormal) in any way.
Currently the Secret Soviet, hiding behind the illusory veneer of democracy, is causing the cultural backlash they created, through artificial dynamic tension between State controlled "churches" and Pussy Riot, to erupt in violent persecution against gays, lesbians and, you guessed it, transgenders.
LB Johnson was used here, by the same PTB then, with the "Affirmative Action" 'program', to exacerbate and perpetuate cultural damage stemming from racism, to the great harm of everyone involved.

It's sad that you have allowed yourself to be so indoctrinated by the PC culture, but many people, even in the Liberty Movement are victims of the propaganda.
Show me any tangible evidence that 10 year olds have a conscious sense of gender dissuasion or sexuality without being manipulated by PC rhetoric.
Show me where there is persecution of homosexuals in the U.S. today anywhere near that of the Soviet Union.
Show me where the black community and the civil rights movement ever demanded that boys be allowed in the girls bathroom and that privacy should be sacrificed in the name of "diversity".
Your comparisons have no merit, and neither do the arguments for the case in Maine.
Give me ONE reasonable argument for letting a boy into a girl's bathroom at a public school in violation of the privacy of others.

The human rights abuse I and millions of Western men have endured (to no avail) trying to be committed fathers to our children is seemingly entirely absent from any public debate or consciousness.
Holding fathers to blame is the story peddled by the MSM, big government, corporatocracy and of course big feminism - that alone should be enough to raise suspicion.
It is also a false narrative. Women are the primary beneficiaries of the fatherless society and the state ensures that they have both incentives and mechanisms available, primarily through unconstitutional and unaccountable family courts which strip good men and good fathers of children, possessions, assets, income, driver's license, passport and freedom without cause or due process.
In family courts world-wide, men and virtually only men, have no protection from kidnaping, theft, perjury, extortion and false accusations. Any unsubstantiated accusation by anyone involved, including especially mom, is enough for a man to lose every possible human right except for the 'right' to labor and have the fruits of that labor seized.
Such assertions have become standard proceeding in family court, as has the predictable outcome. Even without such tactics, the outcome is equally predictable.
Sex and children are and probably always have been levers of power wielded by women. Now, however, those levers are backed by the lethal force of a state which no longer respects its male citizens nor grants them any fundamental rights.
Two respected scholars who can shed more light on this are Dr. Stephen Baskerville (particularly on the relevant constitutional issues) and Dr. Warren Farrell, a former director of the National Organization for Women who has done considerable research into how the mythologies of organized feminism have become entrenched into the mainstream despite vast amounts of data refuting those myths.
The 'fatherhood' actually available to men differs in no wise from personal slavery; legitimate parenting of any sort is not on offer.
You are an important part of the blogosphere; it is essential that you be aware of the real story behind the breakdown of families. The silent suffering of men, the responsibility of women, and the enabling by unconstitutional, human-rights abusing courts, bureaucrats and politicians, are all part of that story.

I am more than well aware of the bias toward fathers held by the U.S. legal system. However, I have also met numerous men well into their 30's and 40's who have no sense of responsibility due to a disconnection from real masculinity, and numerous single mothers and children left by the wayside because of it. The problem gets worse the younger the generation. I believe this is due in part to the self obsessed egotism our society promotes today, but also due to PC cultism which infantizes men and makes them overgrown children always looking for approval and ease of living. Solid fathers are, unfortunately, few and far between lately.
This article is not necessarily placing blame on the fathers, or the mothers (though they do share partially in the problem), rather, it is pointing out how individuals have allowed themselves to be corrupted by PC collectivism.

Unfortunately the activities of governments and family courts are much more than just a 'bias' against men, they are a criminal violation of basic human rights, and they serve the greater purpose of solidifying state control over people's lives.
While it is true that some men have no sense of responsibility toward their children, we also need to recognize the issue of forced fatherhood (note: there is no forced motherhood).
Also, such men are a distinct minority; for the great mass of men, the opposite reality is true, even in the case of men forced by women and the state into (the financial burdens) of fatherhood.
Solid fathers are the huge majority, but most of them are reduced to walking ATMs living under threat of prison with no right to even see their own kids.
Family courts and the broken family are the direct result of corrupt PC collectivism, and the underlying reality deserves accurate analysis.

As far as anti-semetism is concerned, I find that the label is often thrown around by pro-Israeli people so much that it's starting to lose its meaning. Any criticism of the Israeli government and it's policies and one is automatically accused of racism, which I find to be a very tired and lazy tactic. I would hope that you would agree with the logic that disagreement does not necessarily denote "hatred".
Anti-semetism is one of THE most abused labels by politically correct cultists.

One problem does not necessarily negate the other. There is just as much a decline in responsible fatherhood as there is abuse by the legal system against fathers. I acknowledge BOTH problems have roots in the PC culture; I'm not going to place the entirety of the blame on women because that would simply be disingenuous. Both sides have much to answer for in the destruction of this country.

Communism fell in Russia in 1990 after Mikhail Gorbachev left office. Although Communism was gone, Boris Yeltsin (Gorbachev's successor) surrounded himself with Jewish Oligarchs who bled the nation dry.
It was Vladimir Putin who revived Orthodox Christianity, which had been underground for 70+ years, in Russia. I saw some complaints here that the LGBT community was being persecuted; but, that's not quite so. Putin didn't outlaw homosexuality; he outlawed propagandizing it to underage minors, as well as flaunting their behavior in public.
Another issue is that of the performance of Pussy Riot within the confines of the Holy Redeemer Orthodox Cathedral in Moscow, amid a sacred religious liturgy. One thing that's never been permitted within religious institutions is vulgar, sexually explicit performances, the type Pussy Riot held that ended with their trial and imprisonment. I'm sure that if they had done the same inside the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, the results would have been the same.
BTW, Putin has recently released the punk rock band.

The Christian religion is one of faith and obedience. In following the 10 Commandments, the typical Catholic notes his imperfection and the acceptance of the fact that he most definitely will sin. Therefore your statement that “religion should be a personal experience first and foremost” is a simple and uneducated opinion. A picture has been painted that a Catholic has an easy path to follow. If they were wishing for a collective acceptance, Catholics would not follow their faith. But rather, Catholics would become secularists focused on material goods and this temporal Earth. This has happened, not just in organized religion, but generally in all of society. There is still an established Roman Catholic that remains faithful to the Word of God and doesn’t succumb to the notion of a collective elitist agenda. I follow the Roman Catholic Church through faith, through love of God, in the hope to attain eternal salvation, not to make myself feel better or to look down on others.
If you don’t believe it, that is alright. It is your right to disbelieve or accept any religious doctrine so long it does not infringe upon my right to worship.
Do I understand your tangent? Probably not in its entirety. I am not sure if you feel guilty of being a secular individual or not. In embarking on your tangent which involved the Christian faith, you took an uneducated stab in the dark to illustrate the “evil elitist Christian.” I suggest in the future your articles stay on point in order to maintain your audience, not marginalize those who initially supported your original thesis statement.
With that being said, I don't know you personal belief, but rather I am writing based on my perception of your article.

I actually consider myself a Christian, just not in an orthodox sense. I value the insights and wisdom of Christ, but I do not think that most churches represent those insights very well today. In fact, the apparatus of the church seems more like a control mechanism for the elite than anything else.
You may have a very healthy relationship to religion yourself, but I have met many people who do not. There are some good and honest people who participate within the church system, but there are also others who use it as a tool for elevating themselves. They use their religion to feel superior to others, and this is zealotry. It is a dark path that leads only to destruction, and if Christian conservatives ever want to counter the rise of the PC cult, they are going to have to set aside their own elitism in the process.

Let's put this in a modern day scenario: I have son who is 13 and going to public school. When he was 8 or so, we were shopping and I made a comment referring to a black guy. He looked at me and said, "Dad that's rascist"(to refer to someone as black. I said "no, no its perfectly fine. He is black and because i dont know him, i'm just using that to describe him". Well at school a month or so ago, my son has a project where they had partners. His partner was a black guy. He didnt know his name so he asked the teacher, "Is my partner the black guy again?" When he said this, the class openly booed him. Being a 13 year old (i'm sure you remember) this was humiliating. My son then re-clarified to the teacher "Is that wrong to say he's black?" She reassured my son that this is perfectly fine and the class stopped its booing.
My point about this, is that the majority of people today have become over-sensitive to race issues. To even talk about these things is regarded as being racist.

That's how I always viewed it. I'm a child of the 60's and grew up in the streets of NYC where people of different races got along, called each other names, laughed it off because they never took themselves seriously then invited the other person to come to their home so They could have dinner with their families.
Different times today. Today it's a meme, Twitter, follow me culture. Yuk ! I prefer to march to my own drum and not someone else.
PC hit front and center back in the late 90's. One of my accounts as a small business owner was a US Postal distribution hub. I was discussing with my contact a football player on the Miami Hurricanes team, he was a diehard Florida Gators football fan. So we had similar interest.
I had forgotten the name of the Canes (Gino Toretta) QB and told such but i referenced him as the Italian kid. You should have seen the look on his face. After I noticed his stare i asked him and he said we don't say those things here. I asked what's wrong with saying the Italian kid?
I knew right then and there that PC was already out of control and it was a way to control peoples thoughts and silence opinions.
