Order Out Of Chaos: The Defeat Of The Left Comes With A Cost

As I noted in my last article World Suffers From Trump Shellshock - Here’s What Happens Next, there are two primary consequences of a Trump presidency that actually serve globalists and elites in the long run.

The first is the consequence of a perfect scapegoat for the economic crisis which the elites have been gestating since 2008.  Trump enters the White House with a clear political mandate, a mandate that supposedly gives conservatives more power than at any other time in U.S. history.  This mandate might seem like a miracle, a free hand of power to sovereignty and liberty champions to defeat the collectivist tyranny of cultural Marxists on the Left once and for all.  However, it could also backfire, because under this mandate EVERYTHING bad that happens under Trump’s watch can be blamed on Trump and his followers.  Conservatives have been given almost absolute influence over government (or apparent influence); by extension, they also inherit absolute responsibility, whether they like it or not.

I examined this first consequence in detail in numerous articles leading up to the 2016 election.  In fact, it is the primary reason why I was so certain Trump would be president.  He is the perfect scapegoat, or the perfect conduit.  Under Trump, the last stage of economic collapse can finally be initiated by the financial elites and most of the world including half the population of the U.S. will immediately and without question blame conservatism, nationalism, sovereignty advocates and Trump for the disaster.  They won’t think twice about looking in the direction of global bankers.

For those that immediately scoff at such a notion, I highly recommend they research the concept of 4th Generation Warfare.  I also highly recommend study into a Department of Defense paper called 'From Psyop To Mindwar: The Psychology Of Victory', written by Major Michael Aquino (a self proclaimed “satanist”) and Colonel Paul Vallely (today a self proclaimed liberty champion).  I would also compel people to read 'The Art Of War' by Sun Tzu, the same manuscript that all recruits of the CIA are required to read.

The essence of the most advanced form of warfare is the ability to defeat an opponent, or a population, without having to fight at all.  Instead, the master tactician seeks to influence his opponent to surrender without fighting, or, to influence his opponent to destroy himself.  This is accomplished primarily through propaganda, subversion, asymmetric warfare (terrorism and insurgency) and most importantly, co-option.

As I noted in my last article, if you want to be able to accurately predict future events, you must understand the minds of the people with the most influence over those events.  The financial elites, highly motivated and highly organized, are the single most important gatekeepers to geopolitical change today.  Know their mind, and you will know the general path tomorrow will take.

This is not to say that the elites are “omnipotent.”  Frankly, they don’t need to be.  With the utter lack of vigilance and awareness within our society, the elites only need to be relatively intelligent and exceedingly morally bankrupt to manipulate the masses. When skeptics argue with me that the elites would “have to be omnipotent to influence the social narrative in the manner I describe,” I have to laugh.  Any person of above-average intelligence and unlimited capital (as the financial elites have) can do considerable damage to a society, bring empires to their knees and condition the populace to think and react in a specific fashion.

If I had the same resources at my disposal as the elites have (and the same lack of conscience), I could probably do a far better job than they when manipulating geopolitical outcomes. They make numerous mistakes if you pay close attention to their actions.  I hardly consider myself the smartest person around, let alone “omnipotent.”  This is a silly notion.  The reality is, the more ignorant the population, the easier it is to control and misdirect them.  To the ignorant, the elites might seem “omnipotent.” They aren’t; they merely have more-intelligent-than-average people at their disposal and printing presses to pay for everything they want.

The smarter and more vigilant any given population, the more difficult it is to influence them through deception.  This is very simple.  To put it even more bluntly, the elites get away with subversive tyranny because there are too many willfully stupid people.

Following this line of thinking, there is a second consequence of Election 2016 that greatly concerns me — the potential for co-option of the Liberty Movement, the only existing opposing force to globalism.  Co-option requires the centralization of a group in thought and deed under the influence of a small number of hands, or a single white knight figure.  As I noted in my article Will A Trump Presidency Really Change Anything For The Better?, published in March of this year:

"The other ingenious aspect of the Trump campaign is really who he is running against — Hillary Clinton, a rabidly liberal candidate even more hated than Barack Obama. A candidate with a potentially serious criminal record and a penchant for an outright communistic world view far beyond that of Bernie Sanders. Those of us who have been in the writing field for a long time and have dabbled in fiction know that in order to create a fantastic hero, you must first put even more work into creating a fantastic villain. The hero is nothing without the villain.

The unmitigated horror inherent in the prospect of a Hillary Clinton presidency is like adding jet fuel to the Trump campaign. (And yes, I am assuming according to the results of the primaries so far that the final election will be between Trump and Clinton)."

And, as I explained in my article Clinton Versus Trump And The Co-Option Of The Liberty Movement published in September:

"Whenever you have a rebellion focused on the inherent ideals of freedom, totalitarian institutions struggle to intervene. The issue is, freedom is not only moral, but practical. Wherever true freedom exists, people are not only happier, but more productive and prosperous. It’s hard for a tyrant to fight a rebellion based on freedom because the idea is more powerful than any weapon or any form of treachery. No matter how advanced the tyranny is, and no matter how many rebels they imprison or kill, the idea of freedom endures.

The only way to destroy a rebellion like this, a rebellion like the liberty movement, is to make it about something other than freedom. The powers that be have to convince that movement to support policies that are destructive to their own ideals. If this can be done, then that rebellion has lost the advantage of principle — the only advantage that really matters."

The co-option of the liberty movement is not necessarily direct.  It can be achieved through what I call “absorption.” Take note that the mainstream media and elitists avoid using the label “liberty movement” at all costs because this is something we labeled ourselves many years ago.  Instead, they seek to control what we are called; labeling us “populists” of the “Alt-Right.”  The liberty movement has been fighting the globalists in the information war for a long time.  The average conservative Republican is new to this party, and yet the liberty movement is being called the “Alt-Right?”

Even Bloomberg pointed out with relative glee that the Tea Party (liberty movement), a movement which leftists despise with every fiber of their being, could be devoured by Trump’s campaign and reconstituted into something else.  Read their editorial The Tea Party Meets Its Maker, but only if you have a strong stomach.

In the battle against the Marxist left, it is important that we do not lose track of our original identity, or the elites at the top of the pyramid.  Also important is that we do not forsake our original principles in order to achieve “victory” over our adversaries.  This is a very difficult problem to discuss when you consider who we are fighting against.

I have always said that it was the social justice cult and their zealotry that drove the rise of Trump.  It was they that created the public firestorm with their open contempt for our right to free thought and free expression.  But keep in mind, this has all happened before, and with terrible results.

In Europe during the 1920s and early 1930s, the overall rise of Fascism was in direct response to economic crisis and the insurgency of communism.  Communism is essentially collectivism on the far left side of the political spectrum. Fascism is a collectivist trap the "Right" sometimes falls into.  Both lead to centralization and tyranny.

Communism is tyranny in the name of undermining the strong and independent in order to make room for the weak.  Fascism is tyranny in the name of routing out the weak to make room for the strong.

It is these two political extremes that the elites have used over the past century to dominate geopolitical outcomes.  Again, for those who are skeptical I highly recommend the extensive research and evidence presented by Antony Sutton, who outlined succinctly the FACT that both the Bolshevik Revolution and the rise of the Third Reich were funded and managed by Wall Street moguls and international banking interests.

The elites are notorious for playing the extreme left against the right in order to drive conservatives to the opposite extreme.  My concern is not only that through Trump the elites can easily scapegoat conservative movements for a global economic crisis, but also that through the intense vitriol of the social justice left, infuriated by their loss to Trump in the election, conservatives may be driven to abandon their constitutional ideals and become the monster they hoped to destroy.

Carroll Quigley, CFR elitist and mentor to Bill Clinton, was highly open about the plans of globalists to establish one world governance in his book “Tragedy And Hope.”  The following quote from Carroll Quigley’s Dissent: Do We Need It? could be taken as anti-right propaganda, but I take it as a warning that the elites see potential exploitation of the political right in America:

“For example, I’ve talked about the lower middle class as the backbone of fascism in the future. I think this may happen. The party members of the Nazi Party in Germany were consistently lower middle class. I think that the right-wing movements in this country are pretty generally in this group.”

Again, the liberty movement cannot be defeated by the globalists directly.  If the fight comes down to an open confrontation between freedom versus globalism, the globalists will inevitably lose.  Instead, it appears to me that the globalists are more than happy to either allow Trump into the White House, or to install him in the White House as a means to rewrite the liberty movement into a villainous character, rather than the rebellious hero of our story.

So far it would seem that the temptations to revert to fascism are many.  Set aside the threat of ISIS terrorism and think about the insanity showcased by the Left.

When I mentioned in my last article the crippling of social justice, I did not mention that this could have some negative reverberations.  With Trump and conservatives taking near-total power after the Left had assumed they would never lose again, their reaction has been to transform.  They are stepping away from the normal activities and mindset of cultural Marxism and evolving into full blown communists.  Instead of admitting that their ideology is a failure in every respect, they are doubling down.

When this evolution is complete, the Left WILL resort to direct violent action on a larger scale, and they will do so with a clear conscience because, in their minds, they are fighting fascism.  Ironically, it will be this behavior by leftists that may actually push conservatives towards a fascist model.  Conservatives might decide to fight crazy with more crazy.

The mainstream media and popular media largely controlled by leftist elements are only pouring gasoline on the fire, with major pundits and media personalities steadily hinting at “revolution” in the face of a “Trumpist” America.  But here is the thing, these people are kidding themselves.

The alternative media is eclipsing corporate media today.  Their time is coming to an end.

Leftists including groups like Black Lives Matter are also ill equipped to violently combat a conservative movement with a lifetime of experience in arms and the will to use them.  If the Left leaps into the realm of violent Marxist revolution, they will lose in America.  That said, there is a cost.

The cost could very well be the heritage of freedom that conservatives desire to protect.  The alternative media may overrun the corporate media, but will we become the corporate media in the process?

If under Trump conservatives fall to temptation and exploit the “ring of power” that is government to exert dominance in the name of stopping the Left, then they will ultimately be destroyed as well.

In this case history will not remember conservatives as freedom fighters rebelling against globalist machinations, but as evil “populists” that caused global economic collapse and the re-establishment of the institution of fascism.  The globalists can swoop in after the dust has settled and use the American collapse fable as a story to tell children for the next century.  A reminder that nationalism and sovereignty are harbingers of war and death.  Conservatism will be abhorred as “deplorable,” an ugly ideal akin to Nazism.

At this point, the globalists will have won, for no other philosophy contrary to globalism will ever exist again.  No one would want to associate themselves with historical “villains” and bogeymen.

As I have mentioned consistently, I have no idea whether or not Donald Trump is aware of this potential trap.  I also have no idea if he was sincere in his campaign or simply telling people what they wanted to hear.  At this time, his consideration of neo-con political elites and Goldman Sachs bankers for cabinet positions does not leave a positive impression.  And, his seeming refusal to commit to prosecution of Hillary Clinton (which I also predicted) for her obvious crimes is a warning bell of liberty advocates.

My position is that the Liberty Movement must always remain the Liberty Movement if conservatives and sovereignty proponents want a chance to survive.  We have to be willing remain just as watchful and critical of Trump as we would have been with Hillary Clinton.  And, if he breaks his promises or goes against his oath to the constitution, we must be willing to go to war with him, just as we would have with Clinton.

This puts us in a tenuous position — fighting the Left is bad enough.  Going against Trump if he steps out of line is worse, because then we can be labeled leftists as well.  This is the essence of 4th Generation warfare — cornering an opponent so that each move he makes is a sacrifice.  If the opponent is not careful, he might just destroy himself.

There is a way to undermine this strategy by the elites; as conservatives we must treat Trump like a new employee.  We have to put him on probation and watch him, not give him the keys to the store on the first day.  We must also continue to educate fellow conservatives (and any on the Left that have the sense to listen) that this fight is FAR from over.  In fact, it has just begun.  In the end, our strategy must be for the Liberty Movement to absorb the "Alt-Right", instead of being absorbed.  And, we must focus our efforts and actions against top globalists and their organizations rather than only focusing on the regressive left.

People must understand that the real threat in all of this has been and always will be the globalists.  Instead of fighting each other in a futile theater of the absurd, we must fight and remove them from the chess board, wherever and whenever they show their faces in the daylight.

Who Watches the Watchmen?
written by South Florida Oath Keeper , November 23, 2016

I'm increasingly convinced that this scenario, or some semblance thereof, is exactly what is planned by the globalists.

The same damned thing happened in 2000 with the election of George W. Bush, and by 2008, the global economy was in melt-down, the U.S. was involved in two illegal, foreign wars of aggression, and poised to engage in even more.

So-called conservatives refused to see it then, and they will not see it now, unless they pull their heads out of their backsides.

The Trumpsters don't realize he is part of the globalist elite crowd, and will do their bidding. I warned people he's not the one. But his bs throughout the months regarding Making America Great Again, was too temptiing a theme for the dying middle class. Their desperation and knee jerk reaction will backfire on them, and they will live to regret their vote. As you stated Trump will be an excellent scapegoat, and will fulfill the (agenda) wonderfully over the next 4 years.

The best we can do
written by Anonymike , November 23, 2016

Brandon's series of articles has been spot on. The best we can do is: educate as many as possible by sharing this information widely; call out everything any politician does to support the globalists or violate the non-aggression principal; and continue to prepare for a still very possible difficult scenario for the liberty movement. Withdrawing benefits from select groups for their behavior, as suggested in the earlier comment, would be falling into a trap of acting like globalists. Instead, there should be no government benefits for anyone (or taxation/transfers/theft to support them), and such activities should revert to voluntary transfers through charities for infinitely better stewardship.

How soon people forget
written by James Stamulis , November 23, 2016

What drives me crazy is how soon Americans forget crimes of people like Obama. What i mean is in his first term he took over GM, Chrysler, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, College student loans and then a big chunk of medical in Obamacare. It was the biggest Communist takeover of the private sector i have ever seen and most people have pretty much even forgotten already. I is death by a thousand cuts and at that pace we will be the Soviet Union in just a few years but then came Trump. All we can do is hope and pray Trump does restore America to it's greatness by reducing government and giving power back to we the people.
What i find hard these days is telling who are the real patriots and who are globalist puppets. You mentioned general Vallely who i previously thought was a patriot but now i really don't know anymore. God help us.

Awareness
written by LBIL , November 23, 2016

Brandon, not sure if you've heard, but Roger Stone is quite aware of what you're saying ie globalists causing economic collapse and blaming it on Trump. He was talking about it on the Alex show a few days ago. Whether him and Alex suspected what you've said all along or just copied you, the info has most likely reached Trump. Anonymous had a video on their youtube channel recently detailing a hypothetical economic collapse followed by a socialist takeover by the globalists.

We're seeing many on the left wanting to overturn the election. Even Greg Palast is getting in on the "Hillary really won" bandwagon and trying to take direct action. But I'm not sure who their leadership really is. Michael Moore? Young Turks want to go into red states and try to persuade conservatives to their line of thinking(with the exception of Jimmy Dore, TYT are probably the worst people you could send in an attempt to influence anyone). A lot of the Hillary people on forums like Democratic Underground and Jackpineradicals are blaming Bernie, saying he only cared about white issues, "white populism".

You may have heard about Bernie saying the left needs to move beyond identity politics. I've seen quite a few positive reactions to Trump on liberal forums over his TPP stance and changing his views on Hillary and climate change. There's also criticism of Soros on mainline Democrat forums for the same reasons the liberty movement hates him. A lot of the members hate the mainstream media and see them as frauds.

The Breitbart and Infowars people don't seem interested in being a ministry of truth for Trump. I'm trying to listen to most of the Alex show lately. I mention these two sites because they are the largest ones associated with the liberty movement and both have some kind of access to Trump.

There's a lot of awareness on the left and I think it will be difficult for globalists to fully co-opt them or us. One Marxist who I watch regularly is Jason Unruhe. He says a lot of vile things, he's "down with violence" and misunderstands a lot(like Gamergate), but even he has common ground with the Liberty movement on some issues.

The violent Marxist revolution would have to come from a less than organic place. Do they have enough naive college kids following master brainwashers to pull it off? Guess it all boils down to what kind of numbers the globalists really need. Trump is unpredictable. New motivation may be needed. Globalist actors may "join" the liberty movement just so they can do horrendous things in its name. People may not see through that while the MSM still has influence.

Trump could end up being very pragmatic towards the left and diffuse a lot of their rage. Not prosecuting Hillary and making other concessions is going to quell some of it. If those concessions are just being done for that purpose, it's a smart move. I'm hoping these questionable appointments he's making have learned from the past and aren't there to subvert him.

Looks like we're on the same page
written by Future Jim , November 23, 2016

Although I have been on ZeroHedge for over six years, I had never paid much attention to your work until the last few days. I had gotten the wrong impression from your previous article, but I after reading more of your work, I see that you and I are on the same page.

Last week, I wrote a very similar article. http://www.endofinnocence.com/...trump.html

The only difference is that I think it is more likely that the globalists were going with Hillary, and then switched to Trump. I said:

America is the goose that laid the golden egg. It is their power base, and so, inside America, they had preferred the more peaceful route to global domination, which was Hillary, but we wouldn’t just give it to them. Using the truth, we made Hillary too much of a liability and thereby forced them to go with Trump, who was their plan B. (The truth denies what deception provides.) From their perspective, we will get what we deserve because those who make peaceful enslavement impossible, make violent enslavement inevitable.

I did not mention them coopting the liberty movement. That will be an article by itself, although I have already written how Penn Gillette and Gary Johnson were coopted.

They are indeed coopting the liberty movement. I saw it with the Tea Parties in Montana in 2009, and I saw it this summer with individuals like Gary Johnson, Penn Gillette, and Stefan Molyneux.

I have been saying for years that they are setting us up for a final battle and trying to shoehorn everyone into predefined camps that fit their narrative, and none of those camps will be truly liberty oriented, although one of them will be labeled as such in order to tarnish and scapegoat us.

Not time to panic yet
written by F. Cowper , November 23, 2016

Although I will agree that your concerns are justified and we in the liberty movement must stay vigilant and watch Trump like a hawk however I think it's way to early to pass any kind of judgment. For instance the whole upset of Trump not going after Hilary could be just a shrewd ploy because it's not his job to go after her it's the AG job and boy did he pick a good one! Let's stay vigilant and give the man a chance.

No one in the liberty movement is calling for violence.
written by Future Jim , November 23, 2016

@BlueSceptic, No one in the liberty movement is calling for violence. We are trying to prevent violence by waking people up, and you are telling them to stay asleep.

You are the one calling for violence by suggesting that those who are awake belong in a mental institution - like in the USSR. They are not going to go voluntarily, so that means you want to initiate force against them.

Co-opting liberty?
written by Paul Bonneau , November 23, 2016

Some of what appears to be co-opting, is just what naturally occurs when a meme spreads out into a population. More and more people adopt it, but with modifications that make it fit their previous ideas and memes. So, you get a big spread, and arguments over dogma. Look at early Christianity...

Fortunately, liberty is an idea that is simple enough, and with enough natural appeal, that it will be fairly resistant to pressure from the globalists to turn it to their ends. With the internet and uncontrolled access to information, rather than the previous regime of controlled newspapers and TV, it shouldn't be too hard for us to correct any such attempts.

We are in a better place than before
written by Dutch 1960 , November 23, 2016

Who would have thought, just two years ago, that we would be having this discussion today? The jury is out on Trump, and not much can be discerned before January 21st. My personal take us that he is semi-captured opposition, but that he hopes to succeed for the average American within the cocoon of a globalist environment. His range of possibilities include everything from throw-down rejection of everything globalist with every asset at hand, to token resistance and a few nice looking gestures. He does not know yet himself, and will calibrate his movements on the fly. Despite the uncertainty of his motives and chances of success, it is very exciting to be having this discussion, instead of the one we would have been having had nothing changed this time around. I hope for the best with who we have here.

THE THINKING MAN UNEARTHED

Your last article and this one are excellent, Brandon., as always with much logic and wisdom to glean.

BUT just thought I'd add in a little more wisdom along with a bit of humor here........
https://ca.news.yahoo.com/ancient-thinking-person-statuette-unearthed-israel-121755700.html

Sometimes we have to look not only at the forest but also the trees and see beauty and humor where we can find it in such a day and time as this. It can get overwhelming at times and have to step away to get some equilibrium again to continue the "race to the bottom." Or wherever it ends up here on this earthly plane. In flames as the Scripture tell us.

But this find - well, we've come a looooong way, down the slippery slope since then.,. at least here in the U.S. Then again the comments are priceless.

Socialism is an advocacy for public-private partnerships as the catalyst to wealth effect and wealth redistribution and foundation of Kleptocracy.

National Socialism is an advocacy for public-private mergers whose power-structure hierarchy determines if it is Fascism, Communitarianism, or Communism.

It's interesting that these topics can be traced from the 1960s to between 2007-08.

I suspect those thinking that Trump is a champion of liberty, peace, and prosperity based on the available information are either willfully delusional or deliberately being deceptive to manipulate.

March towards tyranny
written by Useless Eater , November 23, 2016

Communist approach: Three steps forward, two steps back. The Chinese move slow. The globalists are taking a page out of their book with the US Corp. By the end of Trump's presidency, whenever that is, the net product will be one more step towards tyranny. I promise. It is has been written, it will be done. It is their system so there is nothing we can do about it, except withdraw from it. That is the remedy and it is no small chore, with the dependency upon them which they have created.

Security over freedom
written by NH Watcher , November 24, 2016

Years ago, after the fall of the Soviet Union, Gorbachev was asked if communism would ever return to Russia, and his answer has stayed with me ever since: "I do not know, but I do know that people usually give up freedom for security."

Don't we see that most everyday, in most aspects of our lives? People willingly giving up their freedoms for so-called security. It is definitely much harder to live by faith, than by fear, but our actions on account of fear are much more sinister.

We cannot think clearly, living in fear, nor choose wisely. In the end, we have to truly know what we believe and why we believe, in order to survive any collapse.

Thank you, Brandon, for all your articles as of late. Trump is not our savior; no man can be. And Trump can be manipulated just as any man. By the grace of God (and I do believe in God), I have survived more than one event in my life where I should be dead. Upon reflection, I have had to admit a power greater than me, rather than cough it up to random and dumb luck.

It is a sad but necessary part of creation that "free will" includes the freedom to give up that same "free will." The question always is: to whom are you giving it up, and why? Are you choosing eternal security or temporary security? (The temporary being what the majority in this world can only offer.)

Otherwise, any worldly ideology can easily descend from how Orwell's Animal Farm began ... from "all animals are equal," to "all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

The globalist strategy for global control necessitates that the global population willingly give it to them, each and every day. The globalists are defeated each time we live and choose for others, and not solely for ourselves.

"Bank-ism"
written by Rodster , November 24, 2016

Gerald Celente from the Trend's Journal coined the phrase "Bankism". It's the Banks who really run the Governments around the world. They are held up as deity and treated as rock stars when they speak in their gibberish coded messages.

If they want to tank an eCONomy all they have to do is manipulate their currency and watch other currencies get destabilized and watch that respective Government enter crisis mode. Think Venezuela and their dependence on oil exports. Their currency is in the crapper and the government is now in chaos.

So I can see, like Brandon said the Global Elite just collapsing the entire system, blame it on Trump and his supporters, then from the global ashes rises the Phoenix to save the day with a Global Currency which they have wanted for sometime now.

It's NO coincidence that we are seeing more Nations voice their displeasure at "Cash" and are doing everything they can to eliminate it. We first heard rumblings from the German finance minister and banking officials, now India is in the process of banning cash, Australia is considering it. Citibank is no longer ACCEPTING cash transactions at certain branches in the US.

The pattern is that the Globalist want to teardown the current system, replace it with a more far reaching system which will give them more power and wealth over the common people.

Communism vs. Free Markets at Plymouth Rock
written by Future Jim , November 24, 2016

Excepted from: Communism vs. Free Markets at Plymouth Rock
http://www.endofinnocence.com/...outh.html

The colonies at Plymouth Rock and Jamestown tried both free market and communist systems – long before Karl Marx was born.

The Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock in December 1620, and in spite of help from the Native Americans, half of them died the first year as a result of their initial system. During the second year, more of them died. They would quickly learn that their initial system was tragically incompatible with human nature. It was simply unnatural.

The colonists had the ideal conditions for their initial system because they all had a reputation as virtuous hard working people, they all were of the same race, religion, politics, and nationality; and of course, they all had agreed to this system voluntarily. They also knew that failure meant death.

Nevertheles, under their initial system, they simply weren’t producing and storing enough food, which lead to starvation, disease, and discontent. Their first solution, in their second year, was to institute beatings for those who did not work hard enough, but this had little effect on productivity, and it further increased discontent.

The colonists astutely observed that their system tended to retard productivity while breeding confusion and discontent. We know this because they wrote about it in their journals. Clearly, their initial system was incompatible with human nature.

By the spring of 1623 the Pilgrims feared they would not survive another winter, so in desperation, they adopted a radically different system, and it saved their lives. Productivity increased, and in 1623, they had the first real Thanksgiving.

Which system failed the colonists initially, and which radically different system saved them? Which system was so incompatible with human nature, and which system was so compatible with human nature? Which system was so ugly, and which system was so beautiful?

According to their original governing document, the Mayflower Compact, they shared everything produced by any one of them – from each according to his ability – to each according to his need. The result was that only a small percentage of them worked hard, and the rest were freeloaders to varying degrees because they would rather risk death than be expoited by others. They were so reluctant to work that they even left food rotting on the vine! The result was indeed death. Half of them died! This reminds me of the saying by the people of the USSR, “They pretend to pay us, and we pretend to work.”

Then, in the spring of 1623, the surviving colonists decided to let each person keep the fruits of his labor, and the colony’s total output increased so much that they were never hungry again.

The governor wrote in his journal that under their initial (communist) system some of them claimed to be too sick to work, and they were so convincing that it would have been the height of tyranny to force them work. Then, after they learned they could keep the fruits of their labor, those who were too sick to walk suddenly recovered and began working the fields!

Communism was killing the colonists at Plymouth Rock, and by switching to a free market system, they became more productive and saved themselves – in a single growing season.

How Soon We Forget
written by Black Cat , November 24, 2016

How soon we forget that the Bush administration is completely guilty for many a war crime along with plenty of economic overspending, cronyism (see Hank Paulson or No Bid Contacts, Lies of 911), How soon we forget that conservatives are as guilty of needing to join a team of non-representative governors as are their willfully blind progressive counterparts. When might we actually remember that this is all a cruel joke played upon all of us, when might we remember that to participate in this non-representative, criminal government even in the simplest act of voting is a direct support of said criminals. Freedom & Liberty do not exist on Wall St. and especially not in Washington D.C.
Putting your faith in a political savior is a waste of your hope and faith for a positive future. Trump will not save us, when will we forget the lie that has become this democracy and remember self responsibility and voluntary cooperation is our Only way out. Please stop kidding yourselves that "the next president " will make it all better, it can not and will never work that way.

Great article, making crystal clear what the libertarian position ought to be.

I have always said that Trump raised a lot of red flags that libertarians should have noticed, but many were seduced by the man's talent to say what people want to hear. It was always very suspicious that a man born in the globalist elite would want to come to power to destroy that very elite.

Hopefully, from now on cooler heads will prevail and people will carefully check whether Trump fulfills his promises, or drives the country into fascism.

Generally Good, Fuzzy on Fascism, though
written by Bluebeard , November 25, 2016

Hats off to you Mr. Smith. I admit I thought your predictions were way off and you have been proven correct so far. This article does a very good job parsing the purposely confusing situation at hand. However, I wish to point out one item that I think goes off base a bit.

"In this case history will not remember conservatives as freedom fighters rebelling against globalist machinations, but as evil “populists” that caused global economic collapse and the re-establishment of the institution of fascism."

Many, if not all of the elements of fascism described by John T. Flynn in his definitive 1944 book on fascism, "As We Go Marching", currently exist in the U.S. and have since the 30s/40s. Flynn describes fascism as a "diseased offshoot of socialism." Thus the reason the Germans in the 30s/40s described their political system as "National Socialist", shortened to "NAZI." Now, of course, these Germans also added on the unrelated issue of virulent anti-semitism. Too many people incorrectly believe fascism is anti-semitism and that fascism and socialism are some kind of left/right polar opposites when, in fact, they are slight variants of each other.

@bluebeard - On Fascism
written by Future Jim , November 25, 2016

Instead of academic definitions for political factions, why not find the common denominator and use that? It is way more useful. Using this technique, fascism is the belief that when we are all on the same page, everyone benefits. In other words, fascism is the belief that conformism is a good thing. In other words, everyone has to believe the same thing.

The world makes a lot more sense when you use this definition of fascism. It explains why communism is also fascism. What could possibly be more fascist than re-education camps? It explains why most religions are also fascist.

Words have meanings. They just do. I started to read your blog post and realized you were just making up your own definitions. That's your prerogative and I'm not going to try to refute them. I happen to believe that Flynn is definitive on the issue of fascism. Others, such as Lew Rockwell in his book Fascism vs. Capitalism, quote him extensively as well.

Textbook definitions rarely apply in real life, just look at feminism.

I'm sorry but historically, it has been people with conservative leanings (nationalism) that have fallen into the trap of Fascism in the past. Leftists are naturally prone to communism. The common factor that you are missing is that they are BOTH a form of collectivism exploited by global elites for different purposes.

Future Jim is correct in pointing out that "conformity" is the focus. Playing with academic outlooks will get you nowhere. Academia know nothing of the real world.

Early signs not good, but give the President-Elect a chance
written by woody188 , November 25, 2016

I have to agree some of the cabinet selections and early flip-flopping on issues is disheartening. For instance, I saw the NRA promoting the "5-point plan" Mr. Trump is championing which includes some type of modifications to background checks. It is a compromise from what he campaigned on.

My biggest issue is his supposedly changing his mind on climate change legislation. I'm entirely against any type of climate change taxes. It, like the ACA, are entirely developed to bailout the bankrupt government by stealing money (taxing) from the people. One can't imagine what he has been told in the last couple of weeks to prompt such an abrupt change in his platform.

Still, it's some time off before Mr. Trump takes office. And as we've seen with the cabinet rumors, they are just rumors, and many have been patently false. Also, many goals Mr. Trump has set aren't achievable without the help of Congress. I'm willing to give it a year or two and see what happens.

I get it. You don't like the book learnin'. You and Future Jim are men of the "real world" who make up their own definitions. It's like, "conformity", man. Great. But I wasn't talking about textbook definitions or academia in some general sense. I'm talking about fascism specifically as well as the definitive history book about fascism written by John T. Flynn, which you obviously haven't read. Or Lew Rockwell's book. Both contain the history of the most prominent and prototypical fascist regimes in the 20th century, Italy and Germany. In Germany and Italy (and the US at the same time) it was the addition of militarism that attracted "conservatives" in the traditional sense, (royalty (Europe only), elites, wealthy bourgeoise), to willingly combine with the leftists. War is the health of the state and militarism is the ultimate socialist project. Thus, fascist regimes are always welfare-warfare states, ultimately socialistic in nature, much like the US is today.

Do really think, as noted in your quote I referred to, that the US is currently not fascist but fascism "might be re-established" at some future date if your current prognostication about Trump is true?

You are rather defensive when someone presents a view contrary to yours. You might want to ask yourself why that is?

I can't speak for future jim, but I have no problem with "book learning"; just academia and their nonsensical definitions that don't apply to the real world. Fascism in Germany was driven in VAST majority by working class (blue collar conservatives) Germans. The left had nothing to do with it. In fact, it was the left's obsession with pushing communism in Europe that pushed conservatives into the philosophy of fascism and into the arms of the elites. Not only is your definition wrong, but your accounting of history is completely wrong.

We live in a corporatocracy today, but not full blown fascism, yet. There is still the U.S. Constitution to erase, and people to be disarmed. You will know it when we live under true fascism, and it will not be anything like the view you have described. It will be average conservatives, your next-door neighbors, joining ranks with government to squash ALL dissent (and some legitimate threats) in the name of national security. This has not happened yet.

Fascism and Communism
written by NH Watcher , November 26, 2016

Brandon is correct in his historical overview of fascism and communism. (Not that he needs any defense, but ...)

When I took American history at the Univ of Wisconsin, I was taught by the sole conservative in the department, and every year, he gave one lecture on the left and the right and political ideologies, which has stayed with him ever since. It remains the single most important lecture I ever heard, in all my years of academia (spanning two masters degrees, one at Yale).

Academia remains largely clueless to the real world. My conservative professor remains a friend to this day, and he has long past retired, even without "emeritus" status which his so-called tolerant, liberal colleagues refused to allow.

Is it so hard to believe that the Elite know how to seduce the populace, from any angle, and any ideology? I greatly appreciate Brandon's understanding of the Elite and especially what makes them "tick." If you don't understand the psychology (and theology) behind the Elite's decision-making, it is impossible to predict their next move.

No, they aren't gods, but they think that they are, and their power grows greater, the more we give them and/or look the other way. That 1950s tome, THE GOD THAT FAILED, of a group of Western liberals' experiences in Soviet Russia and its realities, has also helped me along the way in seeing the circular nature of most worldly ideologies.

If we want a God, best not to look to man.

@Sammy - A recount could be used to incite insurrection
written by Future Jim , November 26, 2016

I guess this is a reference to what Brandon calls 4th generation warfare, which I hadn't heard of until last week, but I think it is pretty obvious how the recount could be used to incite insurrection by either side, which could then be used as a pretext to disarm the people, strengthen the Patriot Act, and really ... they could take it as far as they think they can getaway with.

I don't think anything will come of it politically. To me this seems like an attempt to continue perpetuating tensions between left and right, which is one of the primary goals of this election. Yeah, I should have given odds.
written by Future Jim , November 26, 2016

I was explaining how the recount could be used to achieve the worst case scenario that is possible, but I think there is only a one percent chance of that actually happening. I try to give odds now, and I also talk about probabilities below 80% now because I had the epiphany two days before Scalia's murder that there was a 50% change that he would be murdered before the end of Obama's term, but I didn't write about it because I only thought there was a 50% chance.

Still though, I am usually wrong, even when I think the probability is over 50%. I suspect that one of the reasons most of us have so much trouble predicting their moves is because they hedge their bets and have multiple fall back plans in motion at any given time. They seem pretty risk averse. I think that even when we are right, especially when we are right, then that fact sometimes compromises their plan to the extent that they go with a different plan. Also, if I were them, I would set us up as much as possible with fake plans.

0
Brandon, how will they use the high level of rage?
written by Future Jim , November 26, 2016

I have observed that, starting in April, they seem to be trying to keep people enraged. James Corbett saw this too and called it The Summer of Rage. Before that it was intermittent. If that is the case then they must be planning to direct that rage into some action, but they wouldn't need rage to blame Trump for a crash would they?

Yes you are right, these devils won't spare any effort to raise the tensions, it's their evil job to do it, not only in the US, but also on a global basis and may be they also intend to influence Trump's decision in the make up of his future team.
On a another note I am following the war against Syria ( which we are allied to) since day one of the brutal and heartbreaking conflict, almost 5 years every day.

Tongue-in-Cheek Dictionary
written by Useless Eater , November 26, 2016

Speaking of made-up definitions, here are some tasty morsels for the holidays, compliments of yours truly. Enjoy in moderation:

I call this my Governmental Media Soundbite Translation Cheatsheet. Something to chew on.
Bon-appetit!

“Not necessarily” – “Always.”

“Alleged” – “Describing the state of being guilty, preceding and until having been “proven” guilty.”

“Democracy” – “That system of governance which invariably precludes such governmental systems as dictatorships and tyrannical fascism. An ideal precursor to tyrannical regimes, the power of a democracy originates in the mistaken perception of the masses as being “active” participants in their own governance while, simultaneously, the ideology of natural rights are “voted” out of each others’ lives, exploiting a temporary overall feeling that the loss of those rights are for the good of everyone, with those temporary feelings residing within those who are, at the time of voting out their fellow man’s rights, oblivious to the fact that their own rights shall soon be eliminated as well, ironically descriptive of a socialistic society which is always (and infamously) a precursor to communism and corporate fascism, governmental systems which, in and of themselves, always lead to dictatorships and tyrannical fascism. An important factor in the success of the transitional phase which democracy represents, is the perception of the “voting” masses having the ability to popularly remove each others’ rights, while the State systematically removes all their remaining rights without the public outcry of the State-removed rights, even though, oddly enough, those rights removed unilaterally by the State were never actually “voted” on by the masses. This undoubtedly results in all rights of the masses being removed, some of which are apparently removed by the masses themselves, adding to the perception that the masses got what they ultimately wanted, lending itself to the improbability or, at a minimum, an increased difficulty of the restoration of those rights which were lost. Ex. “Democracy sucks, and you just don’t realize it yet.”

“Politically correct” – “The state of acceptance of, and adherence to, the (State’s) bias agenda.”

“Political incorrectness” – “Unsanctioned bias; opposed to the currently-proposed bias of the State.”

“Energy Independence” or “American Energy” – “Worldwide interconnected monopoly of the energy of choice of those who hold that monopoly, which everyone is required to exclusively use.”

“Global warming” or “Global cooling” or whatever Global calamity is currently popular (see also, “Overpopulation”) – “Fantasy-based theorem containing little or no scientific substance or has, at the very least, equal opposing arguments of scientific substance, which should drive you to so much fear of the doom of your planet that you should do anything within your means to try and stop it, even if it would mean sacrificing all life on your planet to accomplish it. Without risking the danger of acting upon possible cognizant solutions yourself, your options for preventing it will be provided for you. The dire circumstances which this/these theorem(s) project suggest that there is no time to think and, in fact, there is just barely enough time to act. So, what are you waiting for, and why do you hate the planet so much?”

“Terrorism” – “Acts of destruction carried out (and/or sanctioned) by those with an agenda, “not necessarily” limited to false-flag government operations, which expose a natural tendency of a democratic society to seek change and reform which leads to infinitely more destruction than the limited destruction the original act of terror initially produced.”

“State-sanctioned terror” – (this implication is self-explanatory and self-evident, and yet is becoming an increasingly rare phrase used in the modern vernacular)

“Terrorist(s)” – “Those who carry out (and/or sanction) acts of terrorism.”

“Due process” – “Any process by which the State achieves its agenda. Everything is owed to the State and everyone considered subservient to the State are the ones who owe everything to it. This is what is commonly referred to as “dues,” thus the plural root form usage of due process. Ex. “Time to pay your dues and this is the process which will be used. This is your right to due process.”

“Civil rights” or “civil liberties” – “Perceived privileges of the general population which can be, and eventually always are, removed by those who granted those rights and liberties in the first place. (not to be confused or associated with natural rights, unalienable rights, natural law or common law)”

“Constitutional” – “adj. Outdated; weak. Antonym: Unconstitutional.”

“Unconstitutional” – “adj. Acceptable; modern; slang: hip; cool. Antonym: Constitutional.”

“Economy” – “The imaginary system of wealth, which contains no wealth, but rather is the basic system of corruption designed to provide an imaginary atmosphere of et alia participation whilst unwittingly funneling actual wealth to the top-heavy basket of wealth poised precariously atop a symbolic pyramid owned by (less than) .0001% of the population, occasionally trickling off relatively miniscule amounts of wealth, during its upwards traverse, to preordained lower-level 6-, 7-, 8- and 9-figure annual-salaried (current USD exchange rate) minions of the aforementioned (less than) .0001%, proportionately apportioned using a “secret” formulaic algorithm, which is generally recognized as consideration for their participation in the filling of the aforementioned basket.”

“United States Representative” – “In a democracy predominantly, those in government, appointed by those in government, whose sole responsibility is to represent the interests of The United States, often misunderstood by their subjects, who are generally unfamiliar with their own English language (explicable), to be representing them. The principle backbone tool implemented in the most dominant democracy the world has ever had forced upon its population in its entirety, widely known as The United States.”

“Supreme Court” – “Generally recognized by all branches of the United States government as being the highest court in the land, just under the President and answerable exclusively to him.”

“Criminal Courts” – “Courts of law (sans justice) which consist of, and are operated and maintained by, individuals of a criminal nature, of which their sole purpose is the generation of revenue from the voluntary slaves of and for the State through administrative procedure.”

“Administrative procedure” – “That procedure which, after having replaced the antiquated ideological system of justice, provides the State with the means by which revenue is to be extracted from its citizens for the welfare and exorbitant coffers of those holding public office in the State.” (see also “Tax, n.”)

“Tax” – “n. An arbitrary and endlessly-increasing (by nature) amount of wealth, traditionally known as a tithe, given freely by an unhealthy underclass of citizen who is generally unable to afford it, yet whose fellow underclassmen reap upon each other publicly acceptable disdain in the event of nonpayment due primarily to their own resentment of having to pay their portion (which is popularly known as everyone’s “fair share”) to the overlords of a society who have neither use for, nor the willingness to store it for themselves, inasmuch as the mere weight of the increasingly massive amounts is such a nuisance that it becomes necessary to have it electronically stored and “spent” into secret “Black Projects” for the purpose of researching and developing such things as ways to more efficiently kill more and more people, life extension technologies for the overlords’ own use exclusively and an ever-increasing surveillance state hoisted upon those who pay the tax.”

“Fair share” – “Unit of measurement, generally arbitrary in its value, which is representative of the amount of wealth an economic slave is required to pay to the overlords of a society. Largely unaware to those who participate in the fair share payment, the fair share unit is designed to be detrimental to the accumulation of wealth by those subservient to the State and is increased in value, as necessary, to produce the destitution required for complete control by the overlords over their subjects.”

“Cynical” – “Term often (and affectionately) used to describe the author of these translations. Ex. “You are one cynical son-of-a-bitch!” (see also, Pessimist)”

“Pessimist” – “n. One who seeks truth and attempts to share his or her findings with others.”

With no body politic in place other than loyalists to the US Corporation, a.k.a. US citizens, then secession, for those who attempt it, would be treason. You can talk about secession all you like but without an understanding of law, it merely sounds like fancy-pants patriotic talk. Law is simple. Law is honor. Law is contracts and consent. Your secession is treason of the highest order inasmuch as your loyalty, in law, is to the US Corporation, from whom you want to secede. That is not honorable. That is not lawful. That is treason. The only remedy, in law, is expatriation to the state of your father's birth as is explained in Chapter CCXLIX of the Statutes at Large. In my bloated opinion, however, very few have what it really requires to break away and reclaim the statehood required for an honorable withdrawal of consent from a corporation that is known to be dishonorable in every way imaginable. It takes honor, knowledge, strength of character and bravery. I just don't see enough getting past their willful ignorance of law to see a change anytime soon so sit back and relax...and remember the modern patriot battle cry:

Thanks, Awake. I am aware of the Free Mason symbology in DC, and on the Federal Reserve Notes and the creation of the Federal Reserve. I am also aware that certain families and societies have said incriminating things, but it seems like most who try to expose them and connect the dots are not making verifiable concrete connections to misdeeds. They are either giving us hearsay, or they are honeypots, or they are making unsubstantiated claims. Many of them seem to be revealing the truth, but then they say or do something to smear poo all over the truth - like pushing The Flat Earth Psyop or how Blue Lizard Men are at the top.

For example, Masonic symbology doesn't hurt anybody. Also, if the only source of a quote from Henry Kissenger is from one person who says he overheard it, then I can't use it to wake others. Such information is only useful once one is already awake to consider as possible evidence of their motives and thought processes.

True, you can not fight an enemy that you can not or will not acknowledge. We have been conditioned to believe the lie.

"The Defeat Of The Left"

Mmm no. THIS IS WISHFUL THINKING. There has been no defeat of the left, just an election win by someone who's small govt bona fides are questionable at best and could be a Manchurian leftist at worst.

Future Jim

"What verifiable information is there for anything behind the 3rd veil and beyond?"

Future Jim, there is a stunning book - rather large, extremely in-depth and worldwide - showing all of the monuments, hand signals, obelisks, churches, priests and religious "leaders", the builders - architects and architectural symbols and shapes of the buildings and their satanic symbols. There is an outline of the street layout of Washington D.C of the satanic star symbol. It is a stunning and shocking and well documented book. You would be shocked at the "who, where, what and why" of this book.

How careful do we need to be?
written by a concerned citizen , November 28, 2016

With regard to our internet activity...searches, investigations, what we read, even being on this site or oathkeepers...how careful do you think we need to be? Should we only be accessing these sites from Tor? Do you think there is a watch list that we get put on and will we be in danger or being singled out? Or is that paranoia?

Trump
written by macman , November 28, 2016

Trump may espouse some conservative ideals but he is far FROM a conservative. He's not a stupid man but like, Dubya, he is not a thinker either. Picture him as George Armstrong Custer, charge and damn the consequences. The global elite of this nation will no begin to work overtime to sabotage. My prediction? Trump won't see a second term.

Italy referendum
written by JamesRK , November 30, 2016

Hi Brandon,

Interesting readings again. You have extensively talked about the brexit and trump before, I was wonderning what your take is on the coming Italy referendum? As this time the polls seem to be guessing it would be "no", different from the previous 2 events.
Like to hear your (short) thoughts about this in line with your overall perspective. Are you expecting the "no" vote to win, to get further chaos so that the elites can continue with that process in order to come with their "solution" afterwards?

Security and Doubling Down?
written by Decontextualized , November 30, 2016

I share Concerned Citizen's interest in your opinion regarding privacy protection measures online.

Also since your last article, I've been thinking about your predictions about the death of the mainstream media. Traveling through the airport recently I got a dose of MSM, and it seemed like they were doubling down, as if to be able to say "we told you so" after the coming chaos. I'm not sure if most people are awake enough to effect the death of the MSM, even despite their recent efforts. Do the PTB really have enough control over controlled-opposition alt-media to forgo their second greatest (after the education system) manipulation tool?

Fascists may be the target market for emerging gold currency support
written by the-rooster-of-Christ , December 02, 2016

If fascists become aware of the growing trend and increased use of gold-as-currency (with real-time pricing) then they may not wanna be fascists anymore.

My goodness, what then ?

Co-option of the Liberty Movement
written by SA , December 10, 2016

Your article could well be right. There is a smaller Movement, called the Open Source Movement, creating and using technology usually at low cost. It includes a lot of industries, including Governance. If the Liberty Movement is destroyed, people could look into this.
