Weatherproof Your Survival Electronics For Only $18!

This video was produced by Brandon Smith and originally published at Guerilla Think Tank

In this new installment of Guerilla Think Tank I thought I would share a little trick I discovered to weatherproof and harden cheaper electronics for a cost of $18 or less.  For people who cannot spend a lot of cash on more expensive mil-spec and submersible electronic gear, there is still a way you can protect your comms, computers and other items from the ravages of incessant moisture when in the field.

Watched the vid, and was very impressed a inexpensive way to protect yor gear! Brilliant! I'll admit, I'm in favor of just buying the better radio, but for those that can't this is a effective sloution which anybody can afford

Word to Wise

I'll share something I feel I need to contribute as it was passed on to me and was a solid gold suggestion. Laugh if you like, but put into practice and it will change your life

A woman once said on a forum somewhere that toilet paper is hard to stack and carry. It is. She suggested taking a squeeze ketchup/mustard/salsa bottle- filling with water, and washing yourself with it. It's a mini porto french bidet. IT WORKS better than you would imagine. Works even before you're on the move. You'll never go back. Cheap. practical. clean. No mess. No "paper trail"

That's it- I believe sooner rather than later. It's time.

@Renewed

Thanks! That was my goal for this YouTube channel; simple yet effective ideas for survival that most people have never heard before. Out of the box thinking for the survivalist.

Will rubber cement work if you can't find the silicon coating?
